This Garden I've Found

by Alisa Js

she placed everything in precise right angles
double checked to make absolutely certain
all her measuring sticks
never ventured too far from the placement and arrangment,
straight up and squared ...

won't you spend this brief moment
underneath the shade I've created
in this garden out back
no eyes will spy,
only for a moment
don't be afraid ...

we're not spiders, you know
constantly spinning
there's a lifetime of memories right here
in this moment, quick
in the garden under the shade
of this peppermint twig,
sit please ...

throw away your pretense
lose the need
look past those spurting scars that trickle and weep
forget about illusions
I don't need them,
I see you

you need me,
be real ...

Very interesting style you ahev Alisa. This is so "matter-of-fact" to me but still says much.
