Suffer In Silence

by Jacki M Butler

What do you do
When you know that you made a big mistake
And as much as you say you're ok
When you are alone you cry
Because you know you aren't?

No one sees it
Because you are so strong
You put up this huge facade
And hold your head up high
Walking through each day like nothing.

Then you go home,
A home that is just you
And your loving cat
And you're alone
Then you lose it.

You lose your head,
You lose your heart,
You lose the battle of today
And behind closed doors
You lose yourself and cry.

How do you get past it
Without screwing up your life
Without telling people
Without losing friends
Is it possible, or should you just
Suffer In Silence and pray.

We all go through this experience...process, some of us more than others. We wouldn't be human if we didn't. Thanks for the reminder of my own humanity Jacki. :o) {{{HUGS}}}
