| Posted by Michelle Angelini on 01/31/07 at 04:39 AM Genivieve, you hit it right on the mark! This is what I've been going through the past several weeks. It's been driving me crazy! I think it's finally run its course and I'll be ok. Your poem gave me a laugh, because I never thought of writing about this stupid cold/flu.

| Posted by Scott Utley on 01/31/07 at 06:32 PM I love this because you take a rather mundane subject and elevate it into the ether of artistry, and of course, the rhyme, you are perfect and I think rhyming with reason is an art in itself that modern poets shy away from for no other reason than they suck at it! |
