Behind every successful man
there is a surprised woman. --Maryon Pearson ©

every man
at some point in time
dreams of being
king
of their dominion

every man
dreams of yesterday
desiring
fast cars,
sports
and…women

every man
in time faces
the reality of being
and memories
growing shorter

but every man
is blessed
if they find
while stumbling
to this eleventh-hour
of life
facing the haze
of waning days
with a
warm
and loving
wife
