Echoing through the chambers of my brittle heart,






I wondered if it would stand the strain?






I wondered if I'd feel the pain?





I wondered if my brittle heart and it's tortured strain






would feel much pain, if any?






Or was this cataclysmic rift






just the first of many gifts?
