He is circumlocutory:
periphrastic, pleonastic,
tautological, redundant,
verbose, wordy:

“I hope this isn’t a final goodbye”

but I’ve taken surveys
and exes ought not talk about
their current wives and children
to the maybe friend they once
shared three years with.

And yes, I am crocodilian
for I want you
happy but not with anyone
an anyone who was supposed to be me
and this is where the Tartuffery comes in:
I don’t want you back,
I just want you thinking about me
and your erratums for eternity.
