overcurrent by Corey Lockabybreaking into white foam
music, steel drum swelling in the background
dwelling in release
i feel pure, exploding with the overcurrent
incredible key swirl
this is relaxed, not numb but sensing
i could stride over, across the
boards stripped bare from focus
not intrinsic but magical and floating
incredibly warm but chilled breathing, dark
very dark with a mellow blue rectangle
falling, incredible
spaces in between the melody
sustained, like a bright blue ocean
coral reef and diving deep,
lagoon weeps with joy (into the) over the
sapphire crashing
i am whole
i would stretch for miles
over blue, with seagulls pondering at similar speeds
labrynth songs of RUSHing wind
blows my hair, chills my skin
ruffles, tangles
filtering through my soul
palmate rings of water
from gargantuan unseens
i could dive; but cannot decide which
is more free and selcouth in disposition
i pull myself down to the water, where water
breaking into white foam. 10/23/2006 Posted on 10/23/2006 Copyright © 2025 Corey Lockaby
