THE POETS by Terry OlynikSomewhere
Sometime
The poets
Dictated
It was the heart -
A blood pumping organ
Where
Love resides.
Whereas
It is
The head
Where
Love resides.
A dirty look,
A withering glance
Kills love's
Final chance.
Burying
All
That went before.
