| Posted by Delilah Coyne on 09/12/06 at 03:07 PM There is so much depth and emotion in that first stanza. I've read it and reread it over a few times and each time, it gets heavier. The promise in that first line is just overflowing and then we have the "if only" sentiment. Bittersweet and very well done. |
