Touch

by Kelvin Tan

do you know what
its like to be touched?

some say its
a gentle fluttering of
your heart on a
soft flighty breeze

others claim its
a callous gripping of
fear on the most tender
vulnerable part of you

there are times it feels
like a bold finger carressing
a tranquil lake, rippling but
itself being rippled

other times my heart
in fistful portions torn,
ripped but somehow bigger

what is it like for you
to be touched?

"callous gripping of fear on the most tender vulnerable part of you..." - nailed it, perfectly. Congrats on the POTD. It's very well deserved. Beautifully written; vastly impressive... Excellent work!
