Recorder by Charles E Minshall
I bought a voice recorder,
A costly miniature size,
To record all the poems
That I might devise.
But the purchase I've found
Has all been for naught.
I've recorded nothing
Since the recorder I bought.
It came with a warranty
So I think I'll take it back.
It was guaranteed to work
But there's a total lack.

| Posted by Gregory O'Neill on 07/04/06 at 02:02 AM Well, the recorder got you one anyway! (just when I needed a laugh the most, too!) Thanks Charlie...and happy 4th! |
| Posted by David R Spellman on 07/04/06 at 01:33 PM Yeah, looks like it broke (at least temporarily) any writer's block you may have had... so it was good for that at least. As always quite the humorous piece too! Thanks for the smile. |
