Looking At The Water by Ken HarnischIf my appetites diminish me
Then I accept that as the consequence
It is for wanting life that
We often plunge into the sea
To swim, and sometimes drown.
But looking at the water
Even painting it
Is not enough
To sate the hunger
Anymore.

| Posted by JD Clay on 02/18/06 at 04:12 AM I can't help but feel the embryonic qualities rising from this aquatic piece, Ken. Your stark yet passionate glimpse makes me want to run on the beach and play tag with the waves. Good stuff.

| Posted by Amy Niggel on 02/21/06 at 02:01 AM I've missed reading your stuff. Glad to get the chance to read this one. It is great as usual. I find the image coming very clearly out of this. It really struck a chord. Thanks! |
