That crisp blue
Lacosta shirt
She cooed,
Tapping on
The store front window.

I love alligators
(Crocodiles?)
I replied,
Wondering if sincerity
Can be
Carbon dated.

I wander through
Her viral hallways -
Papered
With cancelled cheques
And
Credit card ennui.

My conscience
(and wallet)
Listen to
The music
Of
Sweet disease.
