Spankings by Charles E MinshallWhen I was a young teenager, I think around and about thirteen or fourteen years old, my dad who was a very hard working strong, strict, cussing man, decided he was going to spank me. I think possibly due to my smart mouth. He was on one side of the table and I was on the other. He would go one way to catch me and I would go the other. We must have made two hundred turns around and around that table, switching directions at almost every turn. Then lo and behold I wore him out. His thoughts of a spanking had ceased. Dad sat down on one side of the table I sat down out of reach on the other, then he and I both started laughing. To this day I haven't received Another spanking, that almost spanking took care of the spankings for good. Ouch! Ouch! Honey stop that spanking, w-e-l-l okay but do it lightly.

| Posted by Rusty C Arquette on 02/06/06 at 10:55 PM Hey, this sounds familiar!! My old man used to wail on me when I'd tick him off, but it was usually one large 'whack' and it was over...My mom, on the other hand, would whack away at us with all sorts of devices and aids (I think she ran a concentration camp during the war!). The old man was gone by the time I could outrun him, so I never got to live that scenarion racing around the table...sounds like I missed something! (smile) - Too Kool! - RCatski |

I love the way you can take any situation and see humor in it. Wonderful! because life is too short to be lived without a smile on your face or in your heart.

| Posted by Maude Curtis on 03/10/09 at 03:53 PM That is a funny sight to imagine. Mom was the disciplinarian in our home. Whe she would insist Daddy spank us, he'd take us in the bedroom, roll up a newspaper and say "OK when I hit the bed you holler." Then he'd leave us to think about what we had done. Mom never caught on.:-) |
