rock and a hard place

by Uriel Tovar

i laugh in your face
you small
fly light weight
heavy hitting champion of the world
i spit danger back at you
as you shit out your thunder
i am the lightning
you try to eat
i am that lightning

you stick right and i move left
i hear your footsteps in my head
heading out out the door
cuz you can't keep up with
my lightning quick
fast catching
chicken feeding feet

you ain't shit you ain't
nothing
bum
you bum
who am i to be giving you advise
you poor excuse for a man
she's broken
yeah i broke
she's broken
but i'll give her the world
cuz after those 15
after the distance i
still love her

Yes, some who believe they are on top are actually occupying the lowest rung and can't SEE anything above them for blindess is a necessary affliction of this disease. Frustration too, is sometimes the mark of man who sees both below and above. A nice tribute to the victim of the man on the lower rung who believes he occupies the highest one.
