OWE WE DO OH DO WE OWE

by Charles E Minshall

The price of gas
Is much too much high,
Owe we do oh do we owe.
It's four bucks here,
It's four bucks there,
Owe we do oh do we owe.
Soon we'll need a safe on wheels,
One we can tow and tow,
To carry the money
For our gasoline deals.
Owe we do oh do we owe.

"oh we owe we owe" sounds like the guards at the wicked witch's castle in Wizard of Oz. maybe we should all just get a magic broom? or a bicycle?
