Acceptance by Krystall VegaI like to hear the rain sometimes. Especially at night. Id sit upon a porch swing, with my knees placed firmly against my chest, and my hair slightly moving east in accordance to the breeze and Id watch as the rain drops fall, dribble across the ground, and fall gracefully into any crevice caring enough to take it in, despite all the dirt it managed to track in with it. If only people would be so accepting. 07/17/2005 Posted on 07/17/2005 Copyright © 2025 Krystall Vega

| Posted by Maureen Glaude on 07/18/05 at 07:06 AM an effective prose poem on a theme I've been reading about. Roo Borson, award-winning poet, has a lyrical poem and haibun called Rain, you might like to read, maybe you can find on the net. I like what you're going after here. |
