How can you love someone for so long
Nearly marry, want to spend your life together
Then find out just how wrong you were.

You think you know them
Think you love them
But all along it was just a game.

They don't love you
Toying with emotions was the plan
Seeing how far you could be pushed
Until you crack
Break apart.

Do you ever know what is right
What is wrong
If it is real or not?

How do you get in so deep
And not know who you are with
Who you are giving your heart to.

You have to be so cautious now
Your heart can be toyed with
Things aren't the way they use to be.
Fidelity and Chivalry are a rarity these days.
Things should go back to how they were
