rumpled by Ginette T Belleresting somewhere in the ashy soot of my mind
sequesterd and arriving malapropos
to haunt my conclusions
you are not as eminent as i remembered you to be
when i was in need of even a cushioned whisper
for sleep to crown me, a picture of exquisiteness
awakening seemingly whole only to be swept away
a samiel dancing wickedly through my waking dreams
what bruised, crushed lips would become of us
diving into the forbidden deep sapphire waters
that hovered above the bitter truth
i wish i knew, but would it matter?
because life can be languid
when you wonder where you could have been
and the burning, unique, ardent sunrise
bleeding through the skin
is defining the existence of tomorrow
