mémoire de lui marques j'amour davantage by Kalikala Smiththis house is not a home
without you.
there's fear with every step i take.
and the creaking of the floor
makes me want more
to come out of this cold dark place.
this empty space next to my pillow
won't hold this heavy heart
baby come back to me, oh will you
restore the life that we did start.
and the raspberry stain
we painted on the walls
and the silly song that you sang
running through the halls
you haunt me
to the core and i
i want you
ya i gotta have more.
i don't know, what was i thinking
to have ever let you go
and the emptiness inside
still haunts me though i've tried
to push it out the door.
i kept your memory by my window
even when the frost made it cold
and i imagine you by my bedside
telling me we'll never get old.
