Wet Road by Uriel Tovarmy view is obstructed
by dozens of stars
splattered
against the frame of my destiny.
they are wiped clean--
destroyed
by the hand of time
guarding my thoughts with a steady
wish
whoosh
splat.
streaks of light
cut into my eyes
like tiger claws
pouncing on me
like the turn ahead:
metal and rubber squeal. 01/08/2005 Posted on 01/08/2005 Copyright © 2025 Uriel Tovar
