I tend to think that one of my best qualities, and most envied, is my charismatic speech and nature. But do you know what a charismatic person is? A bullshit artist.

I find myself saying things to others, to persuade them to go my way, that I loathe others saying to me. I'm finally beginning to realize the true power of my selfish, sugar-coated words, and the consequences they bring upon myself and others.

What right do I have to influence others in ways that will ultimately hurt them? I do believe strongly in free will, but I also believe that some needy people are helpless to persuasion. I am a ruthless perpetrator, helping them become victims. It may be their choice to follow me, but I am a criminal for enabling them.

When you enable someone, you defeat them through their own choices. You become their "behind-the-scenes" puppeteer.

What right do I have?
