The W Spot by Maureen Glaudeupcoming surgeries
for hand and eyes
for afflictions that
hit a writer
where it hurts
09/10/2004 Author's Note: the eyes surgeries(cataracts) won't start for quite a while, (I was just diagnosed) but the hand one(on my writing one)will be on Sept.22 and requires five days or more for recovery. None are major, just a nuisance in this line of work. Still, there are CD's and tape recorders, for the off-time. It should be interesting.

| Posted by Paganini Jones on 09/10/04 at 08:07 PM Boy oh boy - yes, that must hurt. Good luck with it all. And have you thought about using a speeking browser so you can still 'read' when seeing is a problem? There was a guy at uni used it all the time. Hugs n prayers as always |
| Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 09/12/04 at 05:55 AM Cute adaptation of the term G spot, but with a serious message. Fine cerebral poem. How does one know they have cataracts? Blurred vision or spots/scratches visible on the iris? Good luck with the surgery, I'm sure you'll be fine. |
