slipping by Michele Schottelkorbwe are sinking
falling fast
into this abyss
(grasp onto the muddy embankment, i dare you)
trite words, emotionless kisses
and ill be damned if the house isnt a mess
again
my end of the bargain is slipping
(i need better shoes)
