You are my World

by Michele Schottelkorb

Inside the mind’s eye

A promise was begat

And it flourished

Unabashedly whole and pure and untouched by

The universe of ills

This precious flower (heart)

Blossomed from within

And wrapped it’s petals around

The second heart to make them one

Then rooted

Oh, if you could see my love

Thinks of others, when he needs care

Does for others, he gives his share

Pleases others, until his last breath

I am that other

My love, my life

I declare on this day of love

To be half the human you are

And give double the love you give

For you are my world, and I am so blessed…

'You are my world' an unconditional declaration of your love.Of your feelings. And Michele, every word carries these feelings. Every word is vibrating with your love.

I love a good love poem and this one seems boundless, Michele. You have captured the essence of that mystical, magical moment we all hunger for. You and yours are both very fortunate. Pe4ce...
