What to do when this light fills my eyes.
Keeping myself blind to the big surprise.
Wondering if it's all just a waste of time
and thinking that there is no sin or crime.
Everything is in the here and now
but that's something you won't grasp anyhow.

You'd rather have your sense of wonder to ponder
and hope that when you die, your soul will have somewhere to wander.

So you can remember a past life of discontent
and see now what a loving touch really meant.
You can see all the things that seem to be so unclear
and you know how to deal and confront your inner fear.
You adjust yourself with you inner discontent
and get outraged at all the wasted time spent.
When you open your eyes to the big surprise
and find out that maybe the world is just a disguise...
