You work it all night and never win
and every time you say never again.
After being kicked down a dozen times
and see a million crimes.
You start to lose touch with reality
and start living in a TV fantasy.
So you toss all your dreams aside
and try to go along on the ride.
Becoming one of the masses
While dreaming in your classes..
You follow your master for that gold.
Selling your best years to get old.
to sell your soul for some company stock
and when all said and done, it's just a crock.
So there you'll be poor and old
Selling your dreams for petty gold.
So live it loud hard and fast
because that's the only way to never come in last.
