The sparkle in your eye
always makes me look to the sky
and think back to when we first met
in that rainstorm getting all wet.
Sitting for our ride while it was cold outside.
We thought about all the feelings to hide.
We talked about the weather
and about getting together.
So we went our ways
and waited a couple of days.
For we didn't want to seem too desperate
but we both knew what we wanted to get.
We set our first date a week after sex
but after that what's to be next?
Is there such a thing as far too open
or does this happen all too often?
We are still happy and there for each other
So we share it all and go shopping in the mall.
Have a few kids every few years and
our relationship hasn't shifted gears.
For I love her the same for the very start
With my soul being and complete heart.
