A thorn is a thorn unless it's in your tender paw.
You tend to miss the big things worrying about it all.
You run for that underground shelter from death.
Who will someday and stop your breath?
You run around like a chicken without a head
trying to forget that your already dead.
Some enjoy the thorn as a reminder
while some try to hide it in the center
or others with their witty banter.
Spilling their lives at the cash out counter.
while he thinks to himself how he wants to mount her.

Deep down he feels he's failing the test
So he hides a thorn like all the rest.
It doesn't make you the fail the test,
but closer to that something best.
