So a smack to the face is what I got
after I look back to what I forgot.
A red spot and a feeling of bitter remorse
while my heart is sent on a different course.
You say it doesn't hurt a bit
but we all know that's just bullshit.
So don't try to lie to me again
about your internal loss and pain.
Before you think that I've never lost
and you still believe I don't know the cost
and that all that I said was pillow talk
and that I can't really walk the walk.
So before you wind up and smack me again
tell me about your internal loss within.
So it doesn't hurt a bit, you say
and you don't care how much you have to pay?
You love it when they all go away
and leave with not a single delay?
