Sleeping lambs by Aaron Howard
Time's a dream and we're all asleep.
The lambs are here and all that left to keep
For they eat the grass of pain and sorrow
and make everyday a new tomorrow.
Jumping through our pain of life.
Chewing and marching with strife.
Cleansing us all of light and noise.
Helping all the little girls and boys..
Mating in our dreams.
Covering our daily routines.
No pain, Only memory
and add a dabble of fantasy.
Where we are all what we see
and the lambs are all to be we.
Who looks after all the sheep
while we're all snugly asleep?
Dreaming in a fantasy called home.
Sitting with them, but all alone.
The beat down of daily existence
Where pity is compared to pestilence.
Where the bloods is a familiar taste
and your parents just call you a waste.
Home with the lambs
where the dreams can jam.
Where I'm who I dream
and no one hears the lambs scream..
