Flipping through the channels at four am.
Everyone selling me something or another scam.
Hard to believe I have sixty channels right here
and the only thing on are ad's for phone sex and beer.
So I look at my portal to the world.
Trying to look on the other side at the cafe girl
But you'll get nowhere fast with that remote control.
For when you lose it, you won't feel whole
like a junkie needing that rush to breathe
while you search and give those cushions a heave.
There's always something on pay TV
but it's a porno with a story-line that'll never happen to me.
