Looking back on all the ones we knew and all the ones we hated,
for on our nerves they tingled and grated..
Pissing us off and making our days gloomy,
be it your wife, your homey or your roomy.
Life plays mean tricks on friendship and worse on love,
so beware when you raise your hand and look above.
So don't think life is all honkey dory peachy keen..
If you do then you get to meet lots of people gritty and mean..
For if you hold your own and take a stand for something
you never know who or what it may bring.
Life is a cross to bear for every soul.
To keep it all over the fist and under control.
You have to look deep inside to find who you really are, or
you may end up not knowing where or how far.
never beat the ones you really love
for even if they make it come from a push to a shove
for you'll end up having to pay more than just a price..
