On running remorse by Aaron HowardDo you have any remorse
after the day has ran it's course?
Looking back at all these years
and all those surmounting fears?
Looking back at when you were a kid.
Back when you couldn't unscrew the lid.
The lid to that jar called truth.
Masked by the ignorance of youth.
Back when ignorance was bliss and youth king
and you didn't know about the pain that age could bring.
Finding out you were just living a yarn ball of white lies
and in the cure is your little hidden surprise.
Now you look forward to the days end
so up from the sky your good-byes you can send
and after your sunset has come
are you happy where you came from?
Do you have any remorse
after you've reached your course
or is that a fact you hide
from all of the rest of humankind?
