for without music my life would cease.

No works to speak or advice to give...
No sharing or charming or beats to fill...
No hours spent sitting by the windowsill...
No happy times spent around the campfire...
No lust filled nights of desire...
For none of these could happen without beats
or all the place where we gather and meet....
No place is complete without a band
Something there to make you tap your hand.
Someone to shout to the world...
Someone to help you connect with that girl...
Someplace close to your home and town...
Something that picks you up when your down.
So jam on Mr. d j, play this shit all night
when we're home by morning light....
We know that the music will all right
as long as there is some kind of foresight...
