Watching as time slowly washes you away
and I can't stop it, No matter what I say
Waiting as time takes its control
While you're realizing you've come whole.
My life is just a candle in the wind.
Where the sunsets and it all is to begin
the hospital bed to come between friends
So you can see where this path ends.
A tear and a bittersweet smile.
While I try to retain my guile.
Not knowing really what to say
as time strips away another day.
No more patio rondavu's
just between the me's and you's
