Mary

by Aaron Howard

It's more than a feeling and I know it true
for it's more, because it's all brand new.
Clear in my mind like the summer skies
Were the depth and color to her eyes
She could make me melt like ice in the sun
and with her, anytime was fun.
Basking in your loving grace
you and that cute look on your face.
Your the cute one she would say
and I would disagree all the long day.
Your cuter by far I would impart
since you are the holder to the key to my heart.
We would argue over who was the cutest
Like some form of compliment contest
We would laugh over past and present
and time shared between us was always pleasant

I like the poem. One little grammer issue though, lines 9 and 11 you use the word "your", it should be "you're"... You are "cuter by far I would impart" Sorry, I noticed that and had to point it out.
