Waking up with a hangover and red eyes.
Squinty eyed under sunny skies
A glass of water to help reconceial.
A couple of aspirin to help a while.
A ringing in my ears pounding harder
An urge to drive me even farther
Pounding in my head like a sledgehammer
this pain causing me to stammer
Rubbing the sleep out of my eyes
Paying for all of last nights highs.
A stomach ache to remind me
Like paying this party fee.
Stumbling around looking for a smoke
since it's all I've wanted since I awoke
Shudder and deal with the hangover
since My brains the grass and the liquors the mower.
