A darkness runs around in the back of my mind.
Helping me escape my surmounting daily grind.
Hoping that it will all just wash away
and change my black to sunshine gray.
Someone who will be there to smile.
Someone who knows what I means to have guile.
Someone you know, someone still around.
Someone who isn't six feet underground.
Someone to pull off the Band-Aid of pain.
Someone who is as equally insane.

So look around and look good
maybe she's still out there in your neighborhood.
