If only for a night by Aaron Howard
Touching your face in the pale moonlight.
Expected to blissfully pass away the night.
An Embrace as warm as the morning sun
and we think of it all in the name of fun.
Kissing and confusing our passion and desire
and kindling all those innermost fires.
Hiding under our sheet from the world
telling is the difference from a boy & a girl.
A shiver and a Cheshire smile.
When we spend it under the blanket awhile.
A blush and a whisper in my ear
telling me it's time to come dear.
A trickle of sweat down my nose.
As she stumbles putting on her hose
It's half past 8, oh damn!
Now I'm going to be stuck in the traffic jam.
Hiding under our sheet from the world.
Showing us the difference between a boy & a girl.
Making love under the pale moon light.
This is how we love to spend our night.
