I thought

by Aaron Howard

Thought I met you yesterday.
When you didn't want to play.
You showed me the dark growl.
Sitting there alone with your scowl.
So don't blame me for trying to love.
I didn't know it was something to rise above.
So am I to be left here alone on the floor
since you decided not to love me anymore?
Well I hope you can look to see
that no one loved more than me.
I gave away my heart to a thief
and then started my own belief.
So don't come back, the owner of my heart
since it was you, who was the one to part.
So don't blame me for when I crawl back home
so I won't feel so naked and utterly alone..
