How you felt by Aaron HowardThe breathe that keeps me alive
the ability to have a drive
the longing for things to be undone
the chasing of the loss of the fun..
the tangible memory in times past
of about things that never did last..
the dreams of wanting it all
instead of banging my head against this wall
No more fighting, I can't take it anymore
No more yelling, or I'll be knocking on heavens door..
Not one thing left to do or say
So I just go along with the one person play..
Deal with the karma as the blade swings down..
and protect that white man with the thorny crown..
Delve into the fears that make you real
and lose all the ability you had to feel..
Sell your soul for a wafer and a sip
and don't even think about giving me some lip.
Smack you senseless, didnt you know?
You can't let your inside out to show..
Keep it just tucked under your belt..
We've never cared about how you felt..
