Hide and seek by Aaron HowardBlindfolded and tied to a bed.
So what exactly is going through your head?
Anticipation, surprise in glee?
A little taste of the unknown me?
A way to let yourself go?
A way to let your feelings show?
A way to hold all the world in?
A way to tell yourself your committing a sin?
So blind yourself and hide away
because people don't like it when you don't play.
So Hide and seek is your new game?
Do you think that your all the same?
So you run and hide and with your time you bide
and you take that emotional bottle and keep it inside.
Hiding in your dark little room.
Wondering where's the missing doom?
So stay locked up, away from prying eyes
and keep yourself blind to the big surprise.
So blind yourself and hide away
because people don't like it when you don't play

| Posted by Quinn Vokes on 12/17/03 at 12:05 AM interesting poem. it has a dark feeling to it. i like how you mixed ideas with hiding from life and blindfolding... good choice.;) |
