Things about childhood can puzzle you.
Thinking back, remembering things you knew.
People run in and out of the frame
and you're left with that darkness of shame.
You hear the stories yet they seem so new
and you notice the memories you have are so few.
Dreams will haunt your walking and waking world
be it in sleep or in a relationship with a girl.
Somehow you'll have to work it all loose
or you could be dangling on a hidden noose.
For inside us all is a hidden rage
that we all keep locked up in it's cage.
For one day the beast will be free
and things will never be the way they used to be.
All of us control life regardless we care or not.
It's as you see t, So don't let yourself be caught.
If you believe who you are is a star
you may find yourself pushing way to far.
When the animal is awakened and the cage is open
you will loose control of it all and stop your coping.
For you will feel the pain that's been away for so long
* and you will discover it's in us all, as we hear this song..
