Gods singer by Aaron Howard
I was born one day the lightning cracked wide
since it was out I crawled from deep inside.
The thunder rolled deep into the skies
as the light entered my once darkened eyes.
The lord knew that my time had come
The world was soon to come undone.
The thunder is my breath
The lightning my finger
onto the last breath
for I am God's singer...
So the light filled the room
and then the horrendous boom.
Everyone on the scene was deaf
and my mother gave her final breath.
So even though I can hear
I know my mission is clear.
To sing of the thunder.
To sing in the rain.
To spread the wonder.
To sing away the pain..
