Sacrifice is what we all desire
those emotions to help feed the fire.
Grasp at a dream you truly covet
and the look around and rise above it.
Gain all you desire and need
and never give into that passion known as greed.
Appease all the ones you truly love
and never let a push turn into a shove.
Conceal dream behind foggy eyes
and listen for that forgotten surprise.
Give appeasement to the open masses
and hide behind those rose tinted glasses.
Smile in knowing what you really desire
another log of satisfaction for the fire...
