with tan shoelaces. by Andrew S Adamsi'm looking in the general direction of down.
i dont know if i can do anything,
because i cant lift my eyes high enough
to see the true meaning of whatever i'm viewing;
we are looking in different places.
how i would like to think that this
is just a one night stand of emotion,
how i would like to think that
tomorrow will be fine.
and how i know that it probably wont be.
this is not pessimism, there's another word for it.
and this is still love,
it's just confusing, or something.
we're both so indecisive, we may settle on
knowing that we'll never know the difference.
i'm looking in the general direction of down,
and all i really care to notice are your shoes.
they're brown. 11/30/2003 Posted on 11/30/2003 Copyright © 2025 Andrew S Adams

| Posted by Cole Miller on 11/30/03 at 09:34 PM the first thing that came to me when i saw this piece, was a billion summers back, my friend and i were looking for her shoes, we asked 'hey mom, have you seen my tan shoes?' 'i dont know, what color are they?' 'TAN!' heehee. what a cute mom, i loved her. heh. huzzah. This is a great piece, and i can really say that I've felt this way numerous times... cept the shoes are never brown.. usually black. huzzah. |
