Someone I can truly relate to.
The hours spent staring into your eyes.
Someone who can see through my disguise.
When you hold me close to your heart
I feel warm and see my fear part.
Someone to help me see me for what I am.
Not someone who's up on the scam.
The girl I want to be with when I wake,
someone who will love me for goodness sake.
Our embrace so strong, feelings can't fight.
Someone I want to be with tonight.
The room fades from view
and I wake to find I'm not with you.
A feeling insides makes me want to scream
when I found out that you were just a dream.

A dream is a dream, a scream is just a scream
but a scream in your dreams is never quoted
and you find that people and things are miss-quoted.
Love gone twisted and hate gone sad.
Dreams to sometimes leave you happy or mad.
Sometimes dreaming back, way back in time.
Back to when you were a child doing a petty crime
Something to haunt you in your slumber.
Like your brain with you bingo number.
Something to rattle your cage and make you think
did I really have too much to eat and drink?
Come to think about it all in a dream
makes me just wanna scream.
