Lighting up your life and those around you
You avoid the drama like a ninja,
Sneaking out of the conversation when it gets hostile
You love like a saint..
Forgiving for misgivings and false promises..
You spark my desire like the crackling logs
On that fire..
You envelope me like my favorite blanket..
All warm, smelling of me wrapped inside
You love me like no one else
And I will never forget your whispered name
On my parched lips before I release my grip
I love the small things more than life sometimes
I know I don’t always see the big picture
But when it comes to looking inside you
I’m blinded by the light that is known as your love…
