Fall is the preamble for winter’s dooming

by Aaron Howard

Morning is whispering at my ears…
Sunbeams have come on it, glimmer off the empty beers…
Wind rushing past my hair, bristling my brain
As the tree’s slowly start to wane..

Leaves turing amber shades, to rot away the winter…
Where that acorn will someday evolve into a splinter…
Summer fades like the kiss of a forgotten highschool crush
Until we realize that we’ve come to miss, too much..

Then love comes back around, and it’s green and blooming
Without the dark thought’s of falls winter dooming..

Author's Note: I wrote this as a quick reply to the changing seasons...Im horribly uninspired so far...

I feel the same, but at least you're writing something...from this I suspect it could be Seasonal Affective disorder? :@)
